GEMM Prelaunch Terms

These terms cover GEMM’s public prelaunch pages, professional early-access applications and identity reservations at thegemm.com and claims.thegemm.com. “GEMM,” “we” and “us” refer to the team operating these services. Contact us at identity@thegemm.com about these terms or a reservation.

Applications and access

A professional application expresses interest in future access. Applying, completing identity verification or receiving an approved reservation does not activate a platform account, grant demo access, guarantee an invitation or promise a launch date. Existing demo access is limited to separately approved users. Future platform access may have separate terms.

Your information and authority

You must be an adult legally able to accept these terms. Provide accurate information and submit names only for yourself or people and organizations you are authorized to represent. Managers and other representatives remain responsible for the accuracy and authority of each roster entry. Tell us if your authority changes.

Do not impersonate another person, submit altered or misleading evidence, claim a name to sell or hold it against its rightful representative, interfere with another application, or bypass verification and access controls. Keep sign-in codes and claims sessions private.

Identity checks and supporting evidence

Claims require email confirmation and Stripe Identity document and selfie verification. Verification establishes the person making the request; it does not establish ownership of a stage name, company, trademark or other rights. GEMM also reviews your supporting authority evidence and may ask for clarification.

Submit only documents you are permitted to share. Remove unrelated financial, identity and personal information before uploading authority evidence. Use Stripe’s hosted flow for the requested government ID and selfie; do not send those images to GEMM by email.

What a reservation means

An approved claim holds the reviewed name and its listed aliases for you in GEMM’s future-launch reservation list. That list is independent of the current demo: approval does not transfer, rename or take control of an existing demo account.

A reservation is not a trademark registration, a transfer of intellectual property, proof of exclusive legal ownership or a public endorsement. You retain your rights in the information and evidence you submit and allow GEMM to use them to evaluate, administer and resolve your application or claim.

Review, competing claims and corrections

GEMM administrators review claims. Protected identities require two different administrators to approve them. Only one claim can win a reservation for a given identity. We may request more information, reject a request or restrict claims access when evidence is incomplete, conflicting or misleading.

You can respond to a request for information or withdraw an eligible open claim in the claims portal. Contact support if you believe a decision is wrong or your authority has changed. Submitting first does not establish superior rights, and a reservation does not prevent a later dispute from being reviewed.

Communications and privacy

We send sign-in codes and communications needed to manage your submissions. Optional product and launch updates are separate from those service messages. Our Privacy Notice describes the information used in these processes and how to contact us about it.

Changes and availability

These are prelaunch services. Features and review timelines may change, and service may be interrupted. We may update these terms and identify the current version here; where appropriate, we will ask you to accept updated terms before continuing. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
